Went on bike ride today with Swami's Racing Team and club members. We took off East and headed up into the hills. I stayed with the group most of the way but got popped close to the regroup point. It was pretty fast and there were several 2s on the front driving the pace. When we headed back towards Encinitas we headed down a 40mph downhill with cars buzzing by at 70. It was quite scary, especially since the group was squeezed 2 abreast into the bike lane. Definitely different out here.
I am still trying to find a place to eat that isn't $12 for a meal. Not having much luck unless I want to live on Carl's Jr. or IN N OUT. I've been losing weight and feeling better, less the stomach, so I don't really want to eat all that crap. I went to Ihop tonight to get a steak Omelette and it was $10.99 instead of the usual $8.69. Boring stuff I know. Time to get a room somewhere and hit the Trader Joe's.
Whole Foods are quite scarce around here. There is one in La Jolla but that is about 25 miles away. Basically $10 in gas. I've never driven 25 miles to go to the store and don't plan on it now. Still deciding if I want to move down south. If this job interview Tuesday goes no where I am most likely am going to shoot for living in La Jolla area down south. We'll see. Tomorrow another ride up North through Camp Pendleton and into San Clemente. Should be tame and fun.
