I went to the condo inland and gave her the rent for the rest of June and July. I move in tomorrow! Now I can get settled and focus on finding a job. The room really is great and very big. Way bigger than the room I was going to rent with the other guy. I think the location is actually going to work out great as well.
Tomorrow I have another meeting with a recruiter. I really need to just take anything, even temp work, for now and get some money coming in. It will feel good after several months with straight outflow. Nothing new I suppose. Time to change all that.
Not many pictures lately as it's not practical to lug my camera around on the bike. I plan to get a small camera soon and take around with me for incidental pictures.
Well, time to say goodbye to Motel 6. I really could live in the room I'm in now if it wasn't about $1700 a month. Way too expensive and I'd have to eat out every meal as well.
Overall, I'm absolutely loving it here. It is incredible how great so many people are. I'm not sure if it's just me being in a different space energetically but I've got people initiating contact with me and wanting to hang out and do things. A guy that is the head of a bike club out here told me to call him to ride and people are just way friendly and chill. It's great out here and I'm so happy I followed my gut and left Dallas to start over in Southern California. More to come!
